OLD BUSINESS:
A PHR/SPHR Certification Study Group taught by Eileen Taylor will meet on September 24 through November 26 at Teleglobe USA, 11480 Commerce Park Drive, Reston, VA 20191. The cost is $200 for Dulles Chapter members, $250 for members of other chapters/National SHRM members and $300 for all others. Judy Perrault is the point of contact and can be reached at vprez@mindbank.com or at (703) 893-4700. The deadline for signing up is September 7, 2001.
The Dulles Chapter will provide an HR Magazine subscription to Regent University, Center for Leadership Studies.
NEW BUSINESS:
Tom Pfotzer, a representative from TechRocket and sponsor for August, introduced himself and gave a brief overview of his company to the Board members.
Beginning in July and continuing for the remainder of 2001, the Board meetings will be held at AOL’s Dulles Campus.
Maxine Trentham will submit an article on the Telework Program for the next Chapter Newsletter.
