Wellness can play an important part in employee productivity and job satisfaction. It can also play a key role in reducing medical claims. In this presentation you will learn:
- What is Wellness?
- What is happening in Wellness?
You will also gain an understanding of your investment in wellness programs as well as the potential return on your investment. Introducing a Wellness program does have its challenges:
- Budget
- Employee engagement
- Senior Management and Support
Wellness is a part of a comprehensive strategy to gain some control on excess spending with medical insurance. Programs can range dramatically in depth and cost, but they do not all require major financial investments. Many programs may already be available through your current group medical insurance program at little to no cost.
You will gain a solid understanding of Wellness initiatives and learn some specifics about introducing a Wellness program at your work. You should leave this workshop with an increased knowledge of the opportunities and challenges associated with Wellness.
