Call for 2014 Speakers - Dulles SHRM
It is the mission of the Dulles Chapter of SHRM to advance the HR Profession through volunteer and educational programs. It is our pleasure to invite you to share your knowledge, expertise, best practices and successes with us. Dulles SHRM is soliciting proposals for its chapter meetings and one-day seminar.
We are looking for speakers for 2014 that can address the following topics*:
-Social Media: its impact on the HR profession or ways that HR can leverage social media to better serve their employers
-Legislative topics: include healthcare reform, regional legislative trends and actions, or employee legal actions against employers
-Strategic Challenges: how to build/develop HR functional in these economic times and managing merger and acquisition activities
-Finding Best Talent: including 21st century recruiting and staffing trends and creative ways to maximize candidate pools
* We give preference to those presentations that will be eligible for attendees to earn strategic recertification credits through HRCI.
